December 7 is International Civil Aviation Day!

KKLUGA congratulates everyone on International Civil Aviation Day and wishes you a cloudless sky, happy flights, soft landings, and interesting travels!

The purpose of this holiday is to inform the public about the contribution of civil aviation to the social and economic development of the Member States, as well as about the unique role of ICAO (ICAO – International Civil Aviation Organization) – in uniting the efforts of countries to create safe, regular and efficient air traffic around the world.

This holiday has been celebrated since December 7, 1994 – the date of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Convention on International Civil Aviation in Chicago. Two years later, this decision was supported by the UN.
